  1. Tony Zubek is a candidate for Strongsville City Council. He and Julie, his wife of 44 years, moved into the community in 1986 with their five children. Julie and Tony now have 12 grandchildren.

Presently I am the Principal of DVC Enterprises, a management consulting and officiant services firm. In addition I am licensed as a long term substitute teacher with the Strongsville City Schools.

  4. During my 23 years in Strongsville, I have taken a keen interest in the government of our community and have often "spoken out" in favor of a more OPEN GOVERNMENT.
    In 2003 I was a "writ in candidate" for Mayor of Strongsville. Even though this was my first campaign for public office The Plain Dealer spoke positively of my understanding of the community and my ability to be the Mayor.

  14. The 1.5 mill renewal levy for general city expenses will be on the ballot on November 3.
    The levy generates about $550,000 per year and is used to defray, among other expenses, the cost of rubbish collection which cost about $2.6 to $2.7 million dollars each year.
    Vote yes to renew this levy.

Ken asked, "how much money is needed to "carry on" on campaign for Strongsville Counci at Large". the short answer is the compete against three incumbent candidates, we need at least $27,000 from the citizens of Strongsvile or one rich Uncle.     To serve the general good of the community in which I live as a Public Servant.
